This was part of what Mish referred to as our "mini-moon". We went out with close friends, relaxed, and had good and deep conversations. I miss you very much tonight my love.

Mish and I became friends in a way some may call weird. 
I met them after I married their ex fiance.
I also found in Mish a kindred spirit. We became especially close during a time of crisis in both our lives. Mish's support has been vital on my road to recovery. Mish is one of those people who are just magic, and their magic came from their ability to see what was special in other people. Mish was walking empathy.
Mish was love. 
I remember Mish and I always asking each other "is that weird?"and then saying," if we're the ones setting the bar, what constitutes screwed up?"
Then we would laugh. 
In a world of Potzis, Mish was the Fonz.

I've never known anyone who was as selfless and caring as Mish. Mish's first priority in every situation was  "Make sure everyone is taken care of." I've never known anyone who put others before themselves so completely and honestly that way. "How many of us are there? I want to make sure we get enough." "Did _____ get a piece? I don't want to take one if they haven't had one." "Did you see ____'s post? What can we do to help?" That's just who you were my love. Make sure everyone is taken care of, and make sure everyone knows they are loved and worthy of being taken care of. I love you so, so much. Alla bigs. -Husbear

There are some people who brighten the world around them simply by existing. Their souls exude hope and happiness. They embody all of the best parts of humanity. Mish was one of those people, improving the lives of everyone they've encountered. I know my life has been forever improved having them as a friend. I miss you dearly, Mish. Rest well!

One thing I will always remember was how way back in the day, When I was down or depressed, they would gently ask me to smile. I would try, and then they would say "that's not a smile, that's just gas" and I would laugh, and brighten up a bit. Mish spread kindness wherever they went. Everywhere

I love this picture of us. Amanda took this as a candid shot. It's actually one of the last pictures taken of us together. A lot of great memories on that little loveseat for us. So many movie nights, a thousand laughs, deep conversations with friends, and really not deep conversations lol! You're my favorite, I love and miss you so much.

What a great day this was. Hectic, stressful, bunch of things went wrong. Didn't matter. You were perfect. We were scared when we booked mid October for an outdoor ceremony that it might be too cold... and then it was 90°... Massive tactical error on my part having you do your vows first, I could barely make it thru mine. Much like how we were dating long before we realized we were actually dating, we were married in our hearts long before we said our vows. There are no beginnings or endings to the turning of the wheel of time, but it was a beginning.  ILYAB, forever.

I've struggled to find all the words the human language has to describe the amazing person that is Mish. They made this world brighter simply with their presence. They were incredibly encouraging when I was struggling with my mental illness. They made a safe space for me to talk if I needed to. They invited me into a friend group when I didn't have anyone. I am so incredibly thankful for the lasting impression they've left on my soul and couldn't have asked for a better friend. I'm fortunate to have been able to reconnect with them and share in their beautiful wedding, even from afar. I will greatly miss our chats and will fondly remember our chaotic D&D session.

Some of my favorite memories of my long friendship with Mish was when we worked together at Dunn Brothers. That coffee shop was like a little family.

One of my favorite pictures of us together. I remember this day so well. We went to the Renaissance Festival and spent most of the time people watching and smoking hookah.

Mish and I have best friend tattoos. She is the peanut butter to my jelly.

One year for Christmas Mish and I got each other Adventure Time onesies. We proceeded to be ridiculous. Mish was always an enthusiastic participant in my shenanigans.

I will always remember their kind heart and gentle support.

Our condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of Michelle. We were fortunate to get to know Michelle better at our family Thanksgiving gatherings over the last several years, and are grateful for the love and companionship they gave to the members of our family throughout the years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all  during this difficult time.

Today I'm missing our little car dates the most. Just going out, grabbing something to eat, finding someplace pretty and private to park, and just sit there and chat about life. You're the only person I never got tired of being around. ILYAB

I took this photo when Mish invited me into their sacred space to spend the holiday Litha with them. They prepared traditional foods, we performed relevant rituals, and drank more than a few glasses of wine. After those drinks, Mish wordlessly picked up the angry axolotl and placed it on their head with that adorable smirk on their face, which was an extremely Mish thing to do, and I couldn't let that photo opportunity pass me by. I felt truly honored to be welcomed into such a personal, magical setting that day, and every single time we saw each other was just as magical, no matter what we were doing. Mish loved their friends and family with their whole heart, made you feel special even when they were dealing with their own struggles, simply by existing in the same space as you. They were effortlessly the coolest, sweetest human I've ever met. I love you so much, Mishface. Thank you for being such a close, amazing friend. Miss you forever.
