Mildred "Mickie" Elizabeth Denham

Mildred “Mickie” Elizabeth Denham, age 86 of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2022. Mickie was born on January 3, 1936 in Bisco Arkansas to Jessie and Ruby Nickles. She was a member of White Church Christian Church, Order of Eastern Star Gladiola Chapter #459. She worked as a tailor for Kuppenheimer Men’s Clothing for 25 years. Mickie met and married the love of her life, Bill Denham in 1957. The couple enjoyed 57 years of marriage until his passing in 2015. Mickie was preceded in death by her husband Bill, her father and mother, Jessie and Ruby, her sisters Billy and Tommie, her son Thomas Denham and her granddaughter Rachel Telgemeier. Mickie is survived by her children Buddy (Robin) Denham, Phyllis (Ted) Franks, Don (Jenny) Denham, and Susan (Duane) Telgemeier. Her six grandchildren Kelly, Kristy, Jodi, Elizabeth, Bill and Jesse and nine great grandchildren Dakota, Spencer, Quinn, Logan, Jenessa, Allie, Kyle, Maggie and Ernie. A visitation will be held at Chapel Hill on Tuesday January 25, 2022 at 10:00 AM with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.
