Nancy Lee Ashberger

She was born on 9/3/1952 in Kansas City, Ks to James W Cox Sr and Elizabeth Irene Cox. Nancy was a wife, mother, and Anmommy. She was retired and she enjoyed spending time with her family especially with her granddaughter Kendall. She loved reading, cooking, camping, and Halloween parties. She was so sweet and caring. She was a remarkable person and was always willing to help anyone and everyone. She loved to tell stories about her life growing up with her family during get togethers. She enjoyed playing board games and just having fun with her loved ones.

She was proceeded in death by her parents James and Elizabeth Cox, sister Mary Smith, brother James W Cox Jr, and 3 nephews. She is survived by her husband Alford Ashberger, daughter Leabeth Ashberger, granddaughter Kendall Ashberger, daughter in-law Tammy Ashberger, Sisters Hazel Hook, Pat Perry, Donna Ashberger, Peggy Kennedy, and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Nancy will be held Friday, February 23, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Chapel Hill - Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.

Nancy will be laid to rest in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Kansas City, Kansas.
