

Nancy Lou Bernard, 69, of KCK, passed away Sunday, March 30th at home surrounded by family. Visitation will be from 10-noon, Saturday, April 5th at Chapel Hill-Butler, 701 N. 94th St., KCK with the funeral services to follow at noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Nancy was born November 22, 1944 in Chanute, KS to Louis and Cecil Stowell. She lived in Jacksonville, Florida for a short time and has spent most of her life in the KCK area. Nancy loved working outside, taking care of her home, working crossword puzzles and playing games on her Nintendo DS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Bernard, two sisters, and her stepfather, Perry North.
Nancy is survived by her sisters, Nellie Hamilton (Frank) of Texas and Betty Wood (Chris) of Chanute, KS; her brothers, John Stowell (Carol) of Chanute, James Stowell (Jenine) of Pittsburg, KS and Perry North (Vickie) of Chanute; sons, Roger Isom (Robin) of Jacksonville, FL and Shaun Bernard (Marion) of Topeka; daughter, Robyn Probasco (Todd) of KCK; grandchildren, Kyle and Cameron Isom, Skyler, Koby, MeKaela and Hunter Bernard, Kaitlyn, Alexis and Gage Probasco, Jaden Lewis and Devin Schwindt; as well as many friends and other family.
