Natalie Marie Anson, 3 years old, passed away in the loving arms of her parents David and Nicole Anson suddenly and unexpectedly following a brief hospitalization for pneumonia and 2-year battle with Ewing’s sarcoma, an aggressive cancer.
Natalie was born on May 22, 2020 in Peoria, Illinois to her parents, David and Nicole Anson. Natalie’s caring heart, joyful spirit, and infectious smile were evident to everyone who met her.
Natalie loved being a big sister to Lauren, taking care of her two bear blankets “Him Bear” and “Her Bear,” helping Mommy bake, doing craft projects, singing, and reading stories with Mommy and Daddy. Natalie’s inquisitive personality and colorful vocabulary were a delight to her parents.
Natalie’s childlike faith and love for God was an inspiration to her parents and family. While Natalie will be deeply missed by many, David and Nicole find hope in the promises of God in Scripture that Natalie is now in the presence of Jesus and that they will someday be reunited with her because of Natalie’s faith in Jesus Christ.
Natalie is survived by her parents, David Anson and Nicole (Cushman) Anson, her little sister, Lauren Anson, grandparents Michael and Julie Anson and Curt and Michele Cushman, aunts and uncles Eric (Jennifer) Lindauer, Scott (Bailey) Cushman, Stephen Anson, and many loving extended family and friends.
David and Nicole welcome family and friends to Natalie’s memorial service at Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112, on January 5th at 11:00 am. The family will welcome friends from 10:00-11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in Natalie’s honor for funeral expenses or to Give Kids the World Village.
Serving as pallbearers are Patrick Davis, Scott Cushman, Stephen Anson and Eric Lindauer.
