Nkaujcua Cynthia Her (30) was born on May 11, 1994, to the loving parents Qhua Pov Hawj and Paaj Vaaj. She was a cherished daughter, a devoted sister, and an adoring mother. Cynthia’s warmth and love touched the lives of all who knew her, and she leaves behind a legacy that will forever be remembered.
Cynthia grew up in Kansas City, where she spent her childhood summers riding bikes around the neighborhood, camping, swimming, and making memories with her family and friends. As the youngest of her siblings, life was never dull. She shared a special bond with her four sisters—Lidia, Kelly, Cora, and Amy (her sister-in-law)—and her four brothers—Thomas, Dominic, Isaiah, and Jason (her brother-in-law). She was also the proud and loving aunt to her nephew, Nova.
Above all, Cynthia’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted mother to her two children, Eli and Serenity, who were the center of her world. She poured every ounce of love and care into raising them, ensuring they felt supported and cherished every single day. Cynthia’s commitment to her children knew no bounds. From attending Eli’s baseball games to dancing alongside Serenity in princess dress-ups, she gave them a childhood filled with love, laughter, and countless beautiful memories.
Cynthia was also the loving partner of John Delap for 11 years and together they created a home filled with passion, humor and joy.
In every aspect of her life, Cynthia embodied the qualities of love, loyalty, and protection. She worked tirelessly to provide her children with the best future possible, always putting their needs above her own. Eli inherited his mother’s caring and protective nature, while Serenity carries with her Cynthia’s sense of humor and vivacious spirit. As a family, we promise to keep her memory alive by raising them to be everything Cynthia dreamed for them, ensuring they know the depths of her love for them.
Tragically, on October 17, Cynthia, along with her unborn daughter, Nebula Nubci Artemis Delap, passed away in their home. While our hearts are broken, we take solace in knowing that Cynthia’s love and light will forever remain in our hearts. Her laughter, her spirit, and her boundless love for her family will continue to inspire us all.
As we bid farewell to Nkaujcua Cynthia Her, let us hold fast to the beautiful memories of her life. Let us honor her by living with the same free-spirited nature, kindness, and dedication that she showed each and every day. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy will live on in the stories we share and the love she gave to everyone she touched.
Rest in peace, dear Cynthia. You will be forever missed and never forgotten.
