Norma Lee Thomas

Norma was born April 19, 1929 to James and Alva Mills in Dallas County, Missouri. She was an accomplished quilt maker, well known for her pies, and loved her church community at Tonganoxie Christian Church.

Norma is survived by her husband, Loran Thomas of seventy years; their three daughters, Paula Mathia of Conroe, TX, Pat Pallo and her husband Mark of Independence, MO, and Peggy Bish and her husband David of Cypress, TX; five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.

A Celebration of Norma’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 22nd at Tonganoxie Christian Church, 204 Washington Street, Tonganoxie, Kansas 66086. Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m. preceding the service at the church. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112.
