Patricia Ann Green, 101, passed away May 29, 2018. Graveside services will be 10:00am, Friday, June 1, 2018 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, KS 66112. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:00am at Chapel Hill – Butler Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 11267 Strang Line Rd., Lenexa, KS 66215.
Patricia was born January 18, 1917 in Topeka, Kansas to Jose and Guadalupe Torrez. She graduated high school and retired from the Register of Deeds in Wyandotte County as a clerk. Patricia was joined in marriage to Jesse C. Green. They enjoyed camping and fishing, especially for catfish and crappie. She also loved to cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jesse C. Green; her son, Bernie Porras; her granddaughters, Sandra Juarez, and Linda Adcox; and her nine brothers and sisters.
Patricia is survived by her grandchildren, Ron Porras, Antoinette “Toni” Brady, Raymond Porras, and Julie McQueeny-Porras; six great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
