Patricia was born March 26, 1941 to Lyle and Ruth Van Eaton. During her life she lived in Adair County, IA, Kansas City, KS, and Shawnee, KS. Patricia married Keith Nielsen on May 25, 1958. Patricia worked for the Lee Jean Company until her retirement. In her free time, Patricia enjoyed baking and preparing meals for her family and watching her grandchildren play sports.
Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Keith Nielsen, her parents, Lyle and Ruth Van Eaton, her brother, Burton Van Eaton, her sister, Betty Smith and a son-in-law, Edward Gilmore. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Kevin and wife Barbara Nielsen; daughter, Kim Gilmore; grandsons, Jason Gilmore, Chad Gilmore, Eric and wife Alexa Nielsen, and Jeremy and wife Val Dawson; and great-grandchildren, Brayden Gilmore and Emma Gilmore.
