Paul “Ed” Edward Tavener, 70, Kansas City, Kansas passed away March 23, 2022. A gathering of family and friends will be from 1pm-2pm, with a memorial service beginning at 2pm, Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas. Ed’s urn will be placed in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at a later date.
Ed was born on August 17, 1951 in Kansas City, Kansas. He owned his own business doing drywall construction. His spare time was spent restoring old cars, riding his motorcycle and tending to his garden.
Ed was preceded in passing by his wife, Marilyn Tavener; brother, Randy Leis; and father, Max King.
Left to always remember him is his son, Tim (Elisa) Tavener; daughter, Carolyn George; mother, Deloris King; life partner, Kathy Roberts; brother, Craig (Heather) King; granddaughters, Aubrie and Taylen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
