

Peggy Fohn, 84, passed away May 27, 2015. A visitation will be held Saturday, May 30th from 2:00-4:00PM with a funeral service at 4:00PM at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas 66112. Ph: 913-334-3366. Peggy was born on September 15, 1930 in Sedan, KS. She spent a brief period of her life in Columbus, GA when her husband was in the United States Army. She also lived in Salina, KS and the rest of the time in the Kansas City, KS area, including Basehor, KS. She was primarily a homemaker, but had brief periods of time working in retail, primarily while in Columbus, GA and Salina, KS. Peggy attended Argentine High School, and took post-secondary continuing education courses. She was a member of Basehor United Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary and Merry Matrons. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvis & Estel (Ramsey) Clark; sister, Betty and brother, Dwayne. Peggy is survived by her husband, John H. Fohn; son, John H. Fohn II and his wife Nancy of Los Lunas, NM, and granddaughter, Amanda Moore of Gallup, NM, along with her nieces and nephews.
