Phil Nagorney, 62, of Kansas City, was killed in an accident on I-35 on November 7, 2016. Graveside services will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, KS 66112.
Phil was born August 3, 1954 in Kansas City, KS to Walter and Frances Nagorney. He was raised in the Catholic faith and graduated from Washington High School. Phil worked as a carpenter in construction before he had to leave due to illness. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing and camping. Phil also loved sports, especially baseball. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Timothy Nagorney.
Phil is survived by his daughters, Sarah Nagorney, and Rose Thomas and her husband Marreo; his son, Sam Nagorney; six grandchildren, Tyler and Arianna Chastain, Hailley Nagorney, and Marreo, Amaya and Aliyah Thomas; his brother, Dr. David Nagorney, and other family members and friends.
