June 30, 1932 – November 28, 2019
Philip J. Wallack was born June 30, 1932 in Bronx, New York to Irving and Clementina Wallack. He was the first of three boys. Philip, a voracious reader loved books, classical music, traveling, and home. Philip received his B.S. in Physics from City College of New York and M.S. in Mathematics also from City College. While at the City College, Philip interrupted his education to go into the Army for two years where he worked as a radio operator in the anti-aircraft battalion. Philip was a member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers and the Association for Computing Machinery, member and co-founder of True Light Church of the Nazarene and True Light Family Resource Center.
