Rebecca will be remembered for her strength and love for her family. She was a wonderful seamstress, liked doing crafts and puzzles, and loved to tell jokes to make others laugh.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Virginia Hammar; husband, Charles Cleveland; and sister, Linda Shatto.
Survivors include her two children, Anthony Wood and Wendy Burke; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112, on August 19, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 1:00 pm. A Graveside Service will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens immediately following the funeral service.
