Rebecca “Becky” Sue (Bridges) Walton of Kansas City, Kansas passed away on June 28th, 2019. She was 73 Years old. A Memorial Service will take place in her honor on Monday, July 8, 2019 at 5:00 PM at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112.

Becky Walton was born on May, 2nd 1946 to Mr. Wilbur Sr. and Dorothy (Pearson) Bridges. She graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1964. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Jack Walton, and blessed him with three children; Darren, Duane, and Jackie.

Becky loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed fishing. She loved feeding all the neighborhood stray cats, and would call them all ‘Baby’. She was loved by so many and was known as Aunt Becky to even those outside the family. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and cherished the time she got to spend with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Walton; her parents, Wilbur Sr. and Dorothy Bridges; and her brother Wilbur Sonny Bridges, Jr.

Becky is survived by her sons, Darren (Gina) Walton and Duane (Jill) Walton; daughter Jackie (Kurt) Schutte; grandchildren, Tyler (Alexandria) Walton, Mackenzie Walton, Cody Walton, Caitlin Walton, Kyle Schutte, and Kaylee Schutte; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Walton; along with numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

Becky was my best friend growing up in K. C. K....She lived on the block behind my house...we spent so many fun times together in jr. high( West) and Wyandotte...we re-connected through Facebook a few years ago...memories of her have come flooding back to me...may she Rest In Peace. I
