Robert L. Arwine

Robert L. Arwine, 71, Leavenworth, Kansas passed away June 25, 2018. A gathering of family and friends will be from 9-10 AM with a memorial service at 10 AM, Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas 66112. In lieu of flowers, please donate bulbs and perennials to be able to plant a garden in Bob’s memory at his home.

Bob was born in Kansas City, Kansas at Bethany Hospital. He was a Sergeant in the US Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam. Bob worked at Certainteed for 44 years and retired in 2008.

Bob was preceded in passing by his parents, James D. Arwine and Glenna Sue Arwine; his aunt, Katherine McAntire; and his uncle, Jack McAntire.

Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rosemarie Arwine; daughters, Jamie Arwine and Jennifer and her husband, Kevin Arwine-Lucas; 5 grandchildren, James, Rebecca, Vanessa, Hunter and Bradley; brother, Dan Arwine and his wife, Anna; and nieces and nephews, Tina, Roger, Kathy, Kenny, Michael, Sonya, Melissa, Angela, and Dawn.
