Robert "Bob" P. Creten, 92, Basehor, Kansas passed away April 17, 2017. Bob was born, raised and farmed in Muncie, Kansas until 1964. He owned Muncie Speedwash and Turner Econowash for 12 years, until 1976. He then was Superintendent for Kansas City, Kansas Parks Department until his retirement in 1986.
Bob was preceded in passing by his first wife, Therese; brother, Arthur "Buss", Jr.; sister, Helen; and parents.
Survivors include his wife, Katheryn Ratkey Creten of Basehor, Kansas; children, Donna (Ken) Frament of Scottsdale, AZ, Keith (Donna) Creten of Kansas City, Kansas, Kathie (Dave) Robertson of Shawnee, Kansas and Gregg (Janet) Creten of Kansas City, Kansas; brother, Jim (Susie) Creten of Tonganoxie, Kansas; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 15440 Leavenworth Rd., Basehor, Kansas 66007. A visitation will be from 9-11 AM, Thursday, also at the church. Interment will be immediately following at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
