Ruth May Golubski, 69 of Kansas City, KS passed away July 10, 2021 at home with her husband by her side. Visitation will be from 11-12 pm with services starting at 12 pm on Monday, July 19th, 2021 at Chapel Hill - Butler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery located at 38th and State Ave. All are welcome to join a luncheon immediately following burial at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge at 7844 Leavenworth Rd. Kansas City, Kansas 66109.
Ruth was born on July 5th, 1952 in Kansas City, Kansas to Paul and Ruby Gilbert. She was one of four children, Zena, Lavon, Ruth, and Lonnie. She graduated from Wyandotte High School and later worked as a bookkeeper for First State Bank for 35 years. She married Martin Golubski Sr. in the summer of 1980 at Saint Joseph/Saint Benedict Catholic Church. Ruth was a mother to two boys, Martin Jr. and James whom she loved dearly.
Ruth enjoyed 10 years of retirement with her best friend, Martin Sr. Playing cards and spending time with her family and her beloved dog Rowdy were some of her favorite things to do. Ruth will be dearly missed by everyone she knew.
Ruth is survived by her husband Martin Golubski Sr. (Kansas City, KS), Martin Jr. and Elizabeth Golubski (Carmel, IN), and James and Lindsey Golubski (Kansas City, KS). As well as four grandchildren, Carson, Colton, Charlotte and Olivia, and her siblings, Zena Norris, Lavon Wyrick and Lonnie Gilbert.
