

Sharon Ann Hubbard-Wilson breathed her last breath on Earth and took her first breath in Heaven on Wednesday, March 9, 2016.She was born to the late Chester and Beotta Jean Flewelling Ellis on April 22, 1944. Sharon graduated from Washington High School, Kansas City, Kansas in 1962, received her beautician’s license in 1964, and received an A.S. degree in Business Administration from Platte College, St. Joseph, Missouri. Sharon worked as a licensed beautician from 1964-1977 in the Kansas City Metro area. Her other areas of employment include being an Early Childhood Substitute Teacher in the Kansas City, Missouri school district from 1989-1997, an Administrative Assistant at Gastrointestinal Associates P.A., Overland Park, Kansas from 1997-2002, and opened her own tax service, Hubbard Tax Service, in her home from 1984 until she retired in 2005.
Sharon married Jack E. Wilson in May 2002 and enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband and friends at the Lake of the Ozarks. They both had a passion for flowers and you could see their beauty start blooming on their porch and all over their yard every spring and summer. Sharon also had a passion for cooking, crocheting, and reading novels with one of her dogs on her lap.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father Chester Ellis, U. S. Navy, who died during the Korean War, her mother, Beotta Jean Ellis Williams and step-father Keith K. Williams on April 19, 1963, and her husband Jack E. Wilson on August 24, 2005, as well as, her nephew Trustin Calton in 2003, brother-in-law Donald W. Calton in 2006, and niece Miranda Calton in 2015.
She is survived by one brother, Roger K. Williams of Helena, Montana, two sisters, Debra Cordaro and spouse William Cordaro of Wappingers Falls, New York and Teresa J. Calton-Johnson and spouse Pela Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri, and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Graveside service will be held Friday, March 18th at 2:00PM at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112.
