Sherry Ann Horn, 85, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away March 30, 2025. A private burial will take place at a later date in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Monarch Hospice and Palliative Care/Merriam, Kansas.
Sherry retired from UMKC School of Dentistry in 1997, and she enjoyed being a winter Texan for more than 20 years. She loved spending time with her family, collecting rocking horses, traveling, reading, spaghetti, and chocolate.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Robert, and daughter, Kimbeth. She is survived by daughters, Lora (Tim) Zimmerman, Lynda (Michael) Hershman, and Kathie (Bill) Knapp; grandchildren, Rebecca Phillips, Michele (Justin) Lang, David (Teresa) Lang, Jim Curry, Jaime (Jared) Robinson, Jeff Curry; great-grandchildren, Austin (Casey) Phillips, Hannah (Chad) Phillips, Liam Torpy, Ema Hallas, Bailey (Aiden) Cannon, Balynda Hallas, and Sean Campbell; and three great-great-grandchildren.
