Grandma Shirley, I am truly blessed to have been given the opportunity to meet you. Over the years you have shared your special memories of the wonderful family that you have raised. I especially loved to hear stories of my father Stan. I will never forget the first time we meet and your warm hug. You will forever be in my heart. Sending hugs and kisses to Heaven.

Losing our Mother is one of the hardest things we must face.  Our Mothers are an  important part of our lives from the day we are born.  We become images of our Mothers in our beliefs, actions and values.  We won’t tell you that you will quit missing Aunt Shirley but it becomes a different stage of grief each day.  Hold fast to your Mother’s love and know that we care, a sense of family was instilled in all of us by our Parents.

Shirley was very accepting and kind to me. When Ryan was a little guy, she was such a good grandma and always had some kind of fun going at her house.

Aunt Shirley, Boy she was the best, was always there  to help. Belive this or not she was the first one I told That I was smoking ,I didn;t even want to tell my owne Mom. Shirley was a wonderful woman. I was fortunate to know her for well over 30 years. She was a "mom" & a loving friend to all of us girls. Shirley always put others before herself. I will miss her smile & her hugs. Karen, Carla, Burt and Bobby....my prayers are with you all and your families.
