He was married for over 40 years to Deborah Gamble. Thomas retired from Certainteed Fiberglass 10 years ago. Thomas proudly served in the United States Army.
He was precede in death by his parents, his loving wife Deborah Gamble and 2 brothers: Leon Gamble, Sr. and Bruce Gamble.
Thomas (James) is survived by his son Benjie Blakney and his wife Lisa Blakney. Several Grandchildren and a Great Grandchild. Along with extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on September 17, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Chapel Hill - Butler FH, located at 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS, 66112. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am.
The final resting place will be Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
