

Tom attended the University of Kansas for two years before eventually entering the workforce. He worked at Basel's Sheet Metal in Leavenworth and was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union #2. He was also the founder of his own company, Pebley Heating and Cooling. He then worked as a technical maintenance man for the Basehor-Linwood School District until his eventual retirement.
Tom attended Piper Bible Church. He had a variety of hobbies that he enjoyed including hiking, camping, fishing, and kayaking. He also loved visiting museums. He was the bass singer for the gospel quartet "Voices 4 U".
Tom is survived by his mother Dora Pebley, wife Connie Pebley, sons John (Angelia) Pebley and Jason (Kim) Pebley, daughter Jaime Pebley, and grandchildren Maya Pebley, Malia Pebley, Marina (Nathan) Ruby, Cody King, Lane Buckner, and Emma Pebley, and his dog, Delbert.
A service for Tom will be held at 10:00am on July 26th, 2022 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 11499, 2806 155th St, Basehor, KS 66007. A burial and graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on July 26th, 2022 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112.
