Dear Betty and Family,
Tom was a remarkable man and was one of my father's best friends (Earl "Bud" Hornbeck). Our family owes Tom so much. Our family business, Hornbeck Specialties, would never have gotten off the ground with our doing a folded kraft roll for five of the Owens Corning plants. A couple times when I was delivering these rolls to the Kansas City plant in our truck, Tom took me to lunch. Our family has adopted a priest in Vietnam and we are going to have Masses celebrated for Tom and for your family every Monday for a month.
