He graduated from Bishop Ward High School in 1966. Then serving in the United States Marine Corps for 3 years from 1966-1969 completing 2 Tours in Viet Nam. Following his military service Mr. Rauter went on to work for Phillips Petroleum Refinery then with Colgate Palmolive and later retiring from BNSF in 2014.
Mr. Rauter is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara and their 3 Daughters: Brenda (Ryan) Apgar, Lindsey (Robert) Sudac and Lesley (Terry) Lard. His 5 Grandchildren: Jake Apgar, Brett Apgar, Gavin Sudac, Leighton Sudac and Cameron Lard. Tim was preceded in death by his 2 brothers: William (Bill) T. Rauter and Richard E. Rauter.
Private service will be held. Burial will be in the Leavenworth National Cemetery.
