Vicky J Reid Smith - Born June 16, 1946, to David J and Jeanne (Crumly) Reid. Followed by twins David (Phyllis) and Donald (Ruthann). Then Gary, who passed as an infant, followed by Jeanne passing. In time David met and married Margaret Story. Then came Bill (Donna) and Dan (Julie). After graduating from Wyandotte High School, she married O. Delbert Smith. Vicky then earned a bachelor’s in education, teaching at both Tonganoxie, Kansas and Yuma, Arizona. Son Mike (Kim) gave them Andrea (Jamie England), Sammy (Tyler Herzberg), and Mary (Carlis Caldwell). Son Kevin (Ismuni) gave them Elizabeth (Wyatt Turnage), and Johnathan (Lexus) Smith, then Kevin (Naomi) gave them Kirsten and Kael. There are twelve great grandchildren, with several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Delbert, Kevin, Julie, and parents preceded. Vicky passed Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

Per Vicky and Delbert’s wishes, a BBQ picnic will be held at Bloomington Beach at 1:30pm. Bring a lawn chair. Plan to share or listen to stories. They both lived life enjoying it. They both loved their family and friends. Relationships were deep and valued in life, even during difficult moments.
