Warren H. Hammer, 94, of Rockville, MD passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014. Visitation will be from 12:30-2:30 p.m., Friday, May 30th at Chapel Hill-Butler, 701 N. 94th St., KCK; with Graveside services to follow at 2:30 p.m. in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, 8550 Arlington Blvd., Fairfax, VA 22301.
Warren was born on December 18, 1919 in Emporia, KS to Marion and Edna Hammer. He graduated from Emporia State University and then served in the Navy during WWII. Warren was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doris E. Hammer and his daughter, Janis Lynn Hammer. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
