

Waundia “Fay” Grover, 82, of Basehor, Kansas, passed away January 10, 2015 at Garden Terrace of Overland Park. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 am, Wednesday, January 14th, with services to follow at 11:00 a.m. all at Chapel Hill – Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3846 West 75th Street, Prairie Village, Kansas 66208.
Fay was born September 16, 1932 in Lebanon, Missouri to Hansel and Mary Richardson. She graduated from Lebanon High School and married the love of her life, Don Grover on July 13, 1952. Fay was a member of the White Church Christian Church and a former member of Central Christian Church of Kansas City, Kansas. She took great care of her home and enjoyed painting, especially landscapes, and reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hansel and Mary; and four brothers and four sisters.
Fay is survived by her husband of 62 years, Don Grover; her son, Scott Grover (Cindy); her daughter, Jeanette Kleoppel (Don); sister, Ina Grover; and her grandchildren, Morgan and Carter Kleoppel, Mikala and Sarah Grover; as well as many nieces, nephews and other friends and family.
