She married William E. Alstrom in 1946 and is survived by her son Sven Erik Alstrom of Lawrence, her daughter Lynette Boyer of Prairie Village, and her only grandson Brett Boyer his wife Stacey and their three children in Desoto, Kansas.
She and her husband raised their children in Kansas City, Kansas and were both officers of the former Bethel Presbyterian Church there. Her husband founded Alstrom Title Company in KCK which she sold in 1990 to Columbian Title following his death in 1986.
Willa had lived in Assisted Living since a fall and fractures during the summer of 2016. Her last fracture and fall in February 2023 was more difficult.
A graveside for Willa will be held Friday, August 18, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112.
