William Benjamin Dillon of Kansas City, Kansas passed away on September 1, 2021 at Providence Medical Center. He was 79 years old. A visitation will be from 5:00-6:00 pm with a memorial service starting at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112.
William was born on February 7, 1942 in Inglewood, California to Raymond Dillon and Lydia (Manion) Dillon. He served his country in the military from 1958-1970 in both the National Guard and then active into the United States Army with the rank of Sergeant.
William worked in construction and spent some time working as a plumber. He loved to spend his time fishing and hunting. He was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Dillon Sr.; mother, Lydia (Manion) Dillon; brother, Raymond (Fred) Dillion Jr.; great-grandson, Austin Tanner.
Left to cherish his memory is his two daughters, Kim O’Neal (Rick), and Kelly Moore (Pat); sister, Sharon Engle; two nieces; one nephew; 15 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
