She spent her childhood doing farm work with her daddy and getting into mischief with her younger sister. She had passion for spreading God’s love, interests in teaching, gardening and creative writing. She traveled the U.S on the back of a motorcycle with her husband as a young adult. She became a proud mother, grandmother, great grandmother, then great-great grandmother.
Ada May’s impact stretched out to many through being a Sunday School teacher for 40+ years. You could find her whistling with birds, climbing trees and doing needlework well into her last years. Up until her last day she was always ready to tease, give limitless affection, and study her Bible verses.
She is survived by one daughter, son, and sister.
Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery will host Ada May’s reception at 10 AM on Saturday, May 4th. The service will follow at 11 AM. The address is: 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd. Kansas City, MO 64133.
