Adam was a man that could say a thousand words with just a smile on his face. While Down Syndrome presented significant challenges over his life, Adam was a beautiful spirit that truly made this world a better place while he was in it. Adam had the gift for hearing music where others may have only heard sound; starting from the time when his feet were no bigger than a key on a piano up to his final days, he could find a rhythm or a beat of his liking; the memories of his laughter—such a sweet and contagious giggle, and the joy on his face as he sat with a xylophone on his lap and a mallet in his hand—will ring on in our hearts eternally. Adam is so deeply loved by his family and we are all so grateful to have been a part of his song.
Never alone, Adam had the loving care and advocacy of his brother Blake and his father Keith at each step in his life. His family would like to thank all the teachers and professionals that worked with Adam throughout the years and the efforts by the wonderful individuals at our community funded organizations.
Adam’s light was able to warm the hearts of many throughout his brief time on Earth no matter how far they were from his embrace.
His love for his sister, his brothers and his father; his love for his community; his love for his cats; his love for the music he experienced in every sound…
Adam’s Love is what remains with us all forever.
Adam is joining his loving mother, Sheryl, in the thereafter; survived by his father Keith, his sister Cori, and his brothers Brandon, Ryan, Allen, and Blake.
