

Adam Sloup, 45, Kansas City, passed away Jan. 7, 2018. Memorial Service is Saturday, Jan. 13 at 1:00 PM at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City, MO. Visitation will follow the service from 2:00 – 4:00 at the same location.
Following cremation, Adam will reside in the arms of his loving family.
Adam was born April 28, 1972 to Roderick and Melinda Sloup in Hutchison, KS. In 2001, he moved to the Kansas City area. He attended Metropolitan Community Colleges, achieved the Dean’s Honor Roll and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. For 16 years he worked for Time Warner Cable (later Spectrum). In addition, Adam regularly donated blood to the American Red Cross.
Preceded in death by his father, Roderick, Adam is survived by his wife, Michelle Sloup; son Kaleb Sloup; mother Melinda Sloup; brothers Andrew and Aaron (Kayla) Sloup and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Most of all, Adam was a devoted husband, father, brother, son, uncle and friend who would do anything for anyone at any time. He was always there for others.
