

Adolph “Jack” Passarell, 96, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, October 17, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11822 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO, with burial following in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, with military honors. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., prior to the Mass at the church.
Adolph was born March 5, 1919 in Albion, New York to Eugenio and Marietta Passarelli. He was the seventh of nine children. On August 2, 1939 he enlisted in the Army Air Corp and served his country during WWII, along with all five brothers. All six survived the war. He graduated from the U.S. Army Air Corps Technical School in 1940 and was a Flight Engineer for TWA from 1945 to 1984. Adolph was married to Mary Theresa McWilliams for 27 years and raised five children. Adolph was a devoted father, an avid Royals and Chiefs fan, and a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
Adolph was preceded in death by his wife, four brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his children, Jeanne Passarell of Kansas City, MO, Mike Passarell of Lee’s Summit, MO, Lisa Klingenberg (Brian) of Santa Monica, CA, Matthew Passarell of Scottsdale, AZ, Dave Passarell of El Segundo, CA; grandson, Jack Klingenberg; brother, William Passarelli, and many nieces and nephews.
