Aggie was born April 29, 1927 to John & Rose (Erdelyi) Luteran in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated in 1945 from Northeast High School, Kansas City, Missouri. During the 1960’s, Aggie owned her own advertising agency where she developed advertising slogans such as “Shop n Save. It’s so easy when you shop at KATZ” and “See the world today in a Chevrolet”. Aggie served as planner and advanced liaison for all Mid-West concerts performed by renowned entertainer “Jack Benny”. She was a past President of American Women in Radio and Television and listed in the Who’s Who of Women in America. Aggie served many years as President of the Livestock Board of Trade, an affiliate of the Livestock Marketing Association.
Aggie is preceded in death by her parents, brother John (Jack) Luteran, sister Katherine Peters, grandson David Siegel, and brothers-in-law Ralph Hamby and Max Peters.
She is survived by David (husband) of 36 years, daughter Sharon Ann (Manbeck) (Himes) Siegel and spouse Andy and children, Holly, Julie, and Elizabeth; son Buford Lee (Skip) Manbeck and spouse Lisa and children: Brandon, Trent, Trisha, and Haley; daughter Liesa Jo Manbeck; son John Daniel and spouse Lisa and children: Jennifer and Justin; daughter Jacque Lenhart and spouse Mike and children, Colby and CJae; sister Margret Hamby, sister-in-law Carol Luteran, and numerous great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 4, with visitation one hour prior at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri, with reception to follow. Private inurnment in Garden of Faith Mausoleum, Mt. Moriah Cemetery South.
