Aida married the love of her life, Gustavo Casanova on October 8, 1950 in Havana, Cuba. Together, they lived a happy and full life filled with adoring family and loving friends. On December 28, 1961, they left Cuba to start a new life journey together in the United States of America with their son and daughter. Through the years, they were able to share the joy of 5 beautiful granddaughters, whom she adored. Her devotion and love for her family and friends was insurmountable. Her love for drawing was always apparent and her skill in doing so was truly a gift. Those close to Aida will remember her for not only the unconditional love she gave, but for the kind and gentle person she always was. Until we see you again, “Mamay”, we will cherish your memories and find peace in knowing you are dancing in heaven with your beloved husband Gustavo, “Papay”.
