Alan Dale Sloniker, 49, Kansas City North, passed away October 20, 2011 at North Kansas City Hospital. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, October 24th, at the McGilley Antioch Chapel where friends may call from 12-1 PM; cremation. Contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association.
Alan was born August 23, 1962 in Kansas City to Philip and Amanda Sloniker. He was a graduate of Winnetonka High School and was an avid hunter, race car enthusiast and member of the American Legion. His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include 3 brothers, Riley Sloniker and wife, Linda, Hickory, NC, Ronald Sloniker, Kansas City, and Charles L. Sloniker and wife, Betty, Statesville, NC; his companion, Linda Hopka, of the home; and 6 nieces and nephews.
