It is with great sadness that the family of Albert Franklin Williams announces his passing on Monday, April 20, 2020 at the age of 95. He was born on December 13, 1924 in Independence, MO to Andrew Williams and Vita Sutterfield.
After high school he joined the Military and was in the Army during WWII. He met his wife Irene on a blind date and they got married on July 23, 1946. They later moved to Belton, Missouri in 1988. He had four children; three daughters and one son. Albert worked in the Oil Refinery and also retired from there after many years of employment.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Irene; son, David Williams in 1992; and her granddaughter, Patricia Miller. He is survived by his three daughters; Karen Sellars of Belton, Missouri, Lorene Williams (Ruben) of Independence, Missouri and Janice (Duane) Edmonds of Blue Springs, Missouri; sister-in-law, Erma Wise of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; as well as three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, four nephews and a niece.
