Albert Louis "Arkie" Bradford, age 89, of Independence, Missouri, peacefully passed away on July 13, 2026, at The Village at Carroll Park in Grandview, Missouri.
Born in Rock Port, Missouri, on October 7, 1936, Albert lived a life defined by dedication to his country, his career, and his family. He proudly served in the United States Armed Forces from December 1959 until November 1965. Following his service, he dedicated 35 years of hard work to Allis-Chalmers, beginning his career in 1957 and retiring with a legacy of loyalty and strong work ethic.
Albert was united in marriage to the love of his life, Mary Louise Bradford (Hall). Together, they shared 55 beautiful years of marriage before her passing in 2014.
He is survived by his three devoted sons: Brian Bradford (LaLysa), Jerry Bradford (Angela), and Dan Bradford (Sara). He was a proud grandfather to four grandchildren: Jessica Gai (Jimmy), Erin Lewis (Tyler), Damon Bradford (affectionately known as "Buzz Lightyear"), and Caelin Bradford. His legacy continues through his five cherished great-grandchildren: Jovie and Jaima Gai, and Harper, Jessie, and Aleah Lewis.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate Albert’s life will be held at Floral Hills Cemetery at 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd Kansas City, MO 64133 on Friday, July 17th at 1:00 PM.
