Albert Romero - The Man, The Myth, The Legend.

Albert “Bundy” Romero, 54, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on June 26, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospice House surrounded by family. He was born on January 26, 1965 to Steve and Mary Alice Romero. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Manuela Romero, and his brother, Steve J. Romero. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Romero; his children, Chris Vaca of KCK, Albert Romero (Andrea Romero) of Council Bluffs, IA, Elizabeth Romero of KCMO, Louie Romero of KC MO, Josephine Romero of KCMO; and his 13 grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 28 at Holy Name Catholic Church, 16 S Iowa St KCK 66103, with burial to follow in East Slope Cemetery, 5011 NW Gateway Ave Riverside, MO. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to defray funeral expenses.

Albert will be greatly missed by family and numerous friends. He always had a helping hand for everyone, and could make you laugh on your worse day with a smart remark. You could always find him working underneath a car, have a beer in his hand, be in the kitchen cooking a meal, or at his favorite casino. He loved his Mexican music, his cowboy boots and hat and those damn cigarettes. There wasn’t a piece of chocolate cake he discriminated against or a glass of milk.

Bundy will be missed but never forgotten. RIP Bundy in your journey to the next galaxy.

Albert I am sure going to miss your silly self, I could always count on you for good conversations and I will always remember the good lunches you cooked and brought to me on my lunch breaks (steak and potatoes with salsa and flour tortillas). I know you are at peace and with your beautiful wife Manuela whom you loved unconditionally. God bless

Got damn!!!! I never thought it would be like this. Bundy, you were suppose to outlive us all. You will be missed by many and I’ll cherish all the memories...maybe even get the opportunity to teach one of the grand babies to drive like you taught me many years ago. Glad to know you’re finally at peace Uncle Albert. Keep a cold one ready for me for when we meet again on the other side. Love Budman

When my family and I moved to the westside, he was the guy you went to , to fix your car . He fixed my car many times and was very nice and loving to my kids . He always had a smile
On his face . He will be dearly missed . Praying for your family . May god give you all strength.
