Alejandro “Alex” Ceja, 44, of Kansas City, MO passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 1pm - 3pm at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Rd., Kansas City, MO 64119.
Alex was born on November 16, 1975 in Zamora, Michoacan, MX to parents Miguel and Maria Elena (Ruiz) Ceja. He was a 1993 graduate of Van Horn High School. Alex worked for Iconex, formerly known as RiteMade Incorporated, as a warehouseman and a Union Stewart for Lodge 779.
Some of Alex’s favorite pastimes included hanging out at the shop where he spent time with family and friends, riding his low-low, a 1979 Chevy Capris, named “La Nena,” or his Harley Davidson Ford F150.
He loved to barbecue and was a self-proclaimed “Grill Master.
Alex enjoyed all sports and attending sporting events. His favorite teams included the Raiders, Las Águilas de America, and any team that Labron James played for.
His company and kindness will be missed by everyone who knew him.
He leaves behind his wife, Magdalena Ceja; children, Alexis, Xavier, and Alina Ceja; and siblings, Miguel, Maria, Diana and Leticia to cherish his memory.
