Alfred E. Cherry Sr.

Alfred Eugene Cherry, Sr. Alfred Eugene Cherry Sr., 81 years old of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on May 3, 2022 at Tmberlake Care Center. Alfred was born in Anniston, Alabama on February 3, 1941 to Henry Preston and Willie Mae Cherry. He attended Cobb High School, Class of 1959. He married Juanita G. Howard and although union didn’t last, the couple had five children together. Alfred worked as an over the road truck driver and later in life as a taxi cab driver before retiring. Alfred was preceded in death by his parents and 10 older siblings Edna, Preston Jr., Samuel, Sylvester, Velva, Herbert, Sylura, Charles, Robert, and Walker. Alfred is survived by his ex-wife, Juanita G. Cherry and their five Children, Crystal Eugenia Cherry Powell (Virgil Powell), Alfred Eugene Cherry Jr., Susan Anita Cherry, Samuel Howard Cherry (Karen Cherry), and Lisa Lucille Cherry. Six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, sister, Marilyn Wylie, and a host of other nieces, nephews, and friends. He was loved by all. Private services were held.
