Alice I. Hart, age 93, of Kansas City Missouri, passed away during the night March 31, 2013 at her home. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 4, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery South.
Mrs. Hart was born March 24, 1920 in Windsor, Missouri to James and Lena Larison. During her life she was a Camp Fire Leader, Sunday school teacher, Cub Scout Den Mother, and a member of N.A.R.V.E. Unit No.95. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church.
She was predeceased by her mother and father; husband of 65 years Charles M. Hart, infant son, all eleven siblings and their spouses, sister in-law Alice and her husband Durwood Ward, granddaughter, infant great-grandson, and son in-law. She is survived by her brother-in-law Lee and wife Margaret Hart. She is also survived by four children: sons Jerry and wife Marti Hart, David and wife Brenda Hart, daughters Joyce Schiller and Wanda Dixon, ten grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
