I am very sorry to hear of Allen’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with Cynthia and the family.

Yes, Doug, you and Allen...the city slickers... were sent to us on the farm that summer. I don’t know who learned more! I do remember Allen telling me that I should make better meals. He wanted me to make Yorkshire Pudding and liverworst sandwiches. You and Allen thought that mornings should not start before lunch. BIII changed that pretty fast and informed the two of you that the menus would not be changed. That was quite the summer! We all learned from each other.

Allen will be missed by his friends and family. His smile lives on......

Circa 1972, Allen & I shooting baskets at his house endlessly. Hanging out with Allen and Dave and Cathy and other friends on the 101st Terr block. More recently, having breakfast with him and talking about investment strategies during my visits to family in KC.
