Private graveside services will be held this week.
Naomi was born on September 11, 1939, and left this earthly world on November 8, 2024. She dedicated most of her career working as a mental health nurse. After retiring from nursing, she spent the next several years working part-time in retail where she met lifelong friends. Naomi’s favorite past-time was cruising, dancing and just spending time doing anything or nothing with the love of her life, Paul Smith. She enjoyed every minute of life with him by her side.
Naomi, the family matriarch, is survived by her son Stephen Smith and his wife Angie, and her daughter Gina Turner and her husband Scott, as well as her beautiful granddaughters Samantha Odom, Tiffany Avis and her husband Michael, and Alexandria Smith. Naomi is also survived by seven very loved great-grandchildren, Paul, Camden, Cayden, Kynlee, Sawyer, Magnolia and Ezra, as well as her niece Starla Taylor and nephew Shawn King, both of whom she loved as her own in addition to many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her cherished husband Paul Smith, her beloved husband David Schall, as well as her parents Henry C. Neal and Ammie H. (Melloway) Neal, and her best friend, her sister Jeanette Neal.
Naomi lived a long, happy, and well-loved life, and she will be forever missed. She is now reunited with those she loved and missed the most, especially her husband Paul.
