Amy Michelle Burnstein, 43, passed away on January 6, 2016. She was born to Dianne Burnstein Farnham and Steven Burnstein on June 30, 1972 in Kansas City, Missouri. Amy graduated from Ruskin High School, Kansas City, Missouri in 1990. She attended MAST in Kansas City Missouri to obtain her EMT license, and worked in Kansas City as a Dialysis Technician
Amy’s hobbies and interests were making Jewelry, Bead work, Jewelry Design, Painting with Acrylic and Photography. She loved to laugh and lit up every room with her smile every time she entered. No one was a stranger to Amy she loved everyone just as they were. Amy loved to help people that needed it the most and would go out of her way for the disabled and shy people. Amy had a way of making people feel at ease and like they had been lifelong friends.
Amy was preceded in death by her grandfather, Milton Burnstein and her grandparents Lorraine and Walt Kressin, Uncle Walt Joseph Jr.
She is survived by her grandmother, MaryAnn Eveloff- Burnstein, of Kansas City, Missouri, her father and step mother Steve and Brenda Burnstein, her mother Patricia Dianne Burnstein- Farnham, her brother, Brett Burnstein and sister in law Gina, step sister, April Dinwiddie, brother in law Michael, step brother, Ryan Horvatic and sister in law Jenny, step brother Shawn Horvatic and sister in law Sirena. Twelve nieces and nephews. Her Uncles Dennis and Tim Burnstein, Aunt and Uncle Philip and Kismet Eveloff, and many cousins as well as friends, who loved her and will miss her.
Memorial Service was held on January 16, 2016 at Mount Moriah Freeman Funeral Home.
