Born Anna Marian Poulsen, September 13, 1920 to Walter and Helen (Rasmussen) Poulsen in Kansas City, Kansas; Anna Marian was called to glory from Independence, Missouri of cardiovascular disease on April 14, 2015. She married Clark Eugene Abshier, July 29, 1950 and was faithful to him until death parted them 61 years later. Clark was born February 22, 1921 and called to glory, March 15, 2011.
Anna Marian served as a faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ, and as the beloved wife of Clark Eugene. Both “Gene and Marian” were long time volunteers at the Salvation Army Book Store in Kansas City. Both were avid readers and collectors of books and collectors of antiques.
