Anne Elizabeth Morrison, 77, Kansas City, Miissouri passed away August 17, 2016. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 21, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 22, at the funeral home followed by burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Morrison was born August 15, 1939, daughter of Homer R. and Hildegard A. (Rahe) Benton. She had worked as a computer operator for TWA for many years. She married Lawrence E. Morrison in 1973. He preceded her in death April 11, 2005. Anne loved antiques and flowers. She loved her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her son Craig and wife Renee Hooten; stepdaughter Stephanie and husband Brad Gamble; brother Ralph and wife Pat Benton; grandchildren Brenden, James, Brett, Eric, Lacey, Lindsey and Marshall; great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
