Anthony “Tony” Craig Holland, 59, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on September 15, 2019. Visitation will be Sunday, September 22 from 1-4 pm at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 13615 W. 92nd Street, Lenexa, KS, 66215. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tony’s name to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, 3 Columbus Circle, 15th Floor, New York, NY 10012.
Tony was born March 22, 1960 in Olathe, KS to parents Rufus and Mary (Rosner) Holland. After receiving his education, Tony worked as a concrete finisher in the construction business. He was a hard worker and provided well for his family. In 2008, he married Debra Martinez who remained his faithful partner in life until his unexpected death. Tony loved music! He played the guitar and wrote many songs. He especially liked alternative rock sounds.
Tony was preceded in death by: a son, Anthony Dawson Holland; his parents; and a sister, Elaine Speake. He is survived by: his wife, Debra; daughter, Joslin Jiri Bradley-Holland; siblings Julie Cavitt, Curtis, Timothy and Stuart Holland; many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
