Anthony "T-Bone" Douglas Olson

Anthony Douglas “T-Bone” Olson, 40, of Grandview, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 14, 2011. Memorial visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Friday, January 21, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Interment Mt. Moriah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wayside Waifs, 3901 Martha Truman Road, Kansas City, Missouri, 64137. Anthony was born October 15, 1970 in Portsmouth, Virginia, son of Eric Douglas and Paula Kathryn (Locascio) Olson at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital, the second of four children. He is survived by his siblings Eric, Joni and Mark. He also is survived by his step-brother Shawn Mall, step-sisters Kristi Mall-Powers, Traci and Tricia Ownby, nephews Sawyer Stevens, Joseph, Benjamin, Daniel, Jonathon,Gunner Olson, and nieces Savannah and Keili Stevens. He always had a smile on his face and there wasn't an animal he didn't love. He was preceded in death by his father, Eric D., and his favorite dogs, Sarge and Zebo. His dogs were like his children. He mourned their losses just as we morn the loss of him. Tony enjoyed drums, golfing, and playing video games with friends. Tony was a quiet, background person that was sometimes 'overlooked' by outsiders. But when this man of few words did speak, he impacted everyone with his words especially when his favorite team lost.
